When sharing a Collabwriting Cluster, you have the option to set Access Roles for users. This allows you to share Cluster with your colleagues and assign them permissions.
All you have to do is enter their email and assign the desired role to them.
Currently, supported permissions are:
Viewer - Can view snippets and comments for shared topic
Commenter - Can leave comments on certain snippets
Editor - Can add and remove snippets for a shared topic
Owner - The creator of a certain topic can edit Access Roles for that particular topic
How to Add People to a Cluster via Email
Go to Your Dashboard - Open Collabwriting and navigate to your Dashboard.
Open Cluster Settings - Find the Cluster you want to share and click the Settings button next to it. A panel will open on the right.
View Existing Members – In the panel, you’ll see all members already added to the Cluster.
Add New Members – Enter the email address of the person you want to add.
Assign Roles - Choose the appropriate role for them:
Viewer - Can view snippets and comments.
Commenter - Can leave comments on snippets.
Editor - Can add or remove snippets.
📌 Note: Ownership of Cluster or Topic still can't be transferred to collaborators.
Accessing Shared Cluster
When someone shares a certain cluster with you, it will appear as a Cluster under the “Shared with me” section.
