With comments, you can easily tag users and bring their attention to the conversation.
Here's how it works:
Start typing a comment
In your input field, type the "@" followed by the name of the person you want to mention
User names will automatically appear in a dropdown menu
When you save your comment, the mentioned user will receive a email notification letting them know they've been tagged
Who can be mentioned?
You can mention any user who has been granted editor or commenter access to that specific Topic. Also if user had one of those roles on Cluster, he will be able to mention user within Topics inside that cluster.
Mention users by email
If you want to add external users you could do so by mentioning them by email. This will send them an email with snippet text and instructions to register.
Here's how it works:
Start typing a comment
In your input field, type the "@" followed by the email address of the person you want to mention
You will have an option to choose the role that you want to assign to a person
When you save your comment, the user will receive an email letting them know they've been tagged.
