Choose what opens by default when you launch the Collabwriting extension.
Under Open on Startup, you can choose what the extension should open by default:
Inbox - Opens your Inbox, a quick-drop space where you can save snippets instantly and organize them later.
My Last Viewed Topic - Reopens the last topic you were working on, helping you pick up right where you left off.
Newest Topic on this Link - Opens the most recently created Topic for the current page, or if none exists, it opens the oldest one available.
This way, you can set up the extension to match your workflow and save time.
Open Inbox on Startup
If you want the extension to automatically open your Inbox every time you launch the extension, follow these steps:
Open the Extension - Click the Collabwriting icon in your browser.
Go to Settings - Click the Settings button in the top-right corner.
Scroll to the Open on Startup section.
Click “Inbox” - Your Inbox will now open automatically whenever you launch the extension
✅ This way, you can immediately see all your saved and new snippets.
Open Your Last Viewed Topic on Startup
If you want the extension to reopen the last topic you were working on:
Open the Extension - Click the Collabwriting icon.
Go to Settings - Click the Settings button in the top-right corner.
Find “Open on Startup” - Go to the Open on Startup section.
Click “My Last Viewed Topic” - The extension will automatically open the topic you last viewed.
✅ Now, every time you open the extension, you’ll pick up right where you left off, without any extra clicks.
Open the Newest Topic on This Link on Startup
If you want the extension to open the most recent topic for the current page:
Open the Extension - Click the Collabwriting icon.
Go to Settings - Click the Settings button in the top-right corner.
Find “Open on Startup” - Locate the Open on Startup section.
Click “Newest Topic on This Link” - The extension will open the last created topic on that particular page.
If no new topics exist, it will open the last active one.
