Collabwriting allows you to highlight and annotate PDFs directly from your desktop. You can work with both online PDFs and uploaded PDFs. Follow these steps to get started:

Create Annotations on Online PDFs

  1. Install the Collabwriting Extension

Make sure you have the Collabwriting browser extension installed. Pin it to your browser for easy access.

  2. Open an Online PDF
When you open an online PDF, click the Collabwriting extension icon. A PDF will automatically open in Reader.

  3. Start Annotating
From here, you can create a new topic and start collecting insights and highlights directly on the PDF.

Alternatively, go to your Dashboard, and in the left sidebar, select Reader. Paste the link to any online PDF, and it will open in the Collabwriting Reader for annotation.

Create Annotations on Uploaded PDFs

  1. Go to your Dashboard and click Reader in the left sidebar.

2. Upload your PDF from your computer.

Start Collecting Insights

Once uploaded, the PDF will open in the Collabwriting Reader. You can now highlight text, leave comments, and organize your notes into topics.
